about

Lady Winter was recorded mostly in our own houses with just two shure sm57 microphones and a computer. Due to this method many of the songs were captured in one take. We are very pleased with how this album turned out. We plan on using the money we make to send ourselves on a trip around the country to meet new people, play music in new places and just gather life experiences. We hope you enjoy this album!

Track Name: I'm Done
I’m tired, and I swear I’m done/ Yeah I’m tired, and I swear I’m done/ If you didn’t have me lovin’, I wouldn’t be livin’ for no one/

I’m cryin’, and ballin’ in my sleep/ Yeah I’m cryin’, and ballin’ in my sleep/ If you gotta pray to someone baby, pray to me.

I’m runnin’, and hidin’ from my mind/ Yeah I’m runnin’, and hidin from my mind/ You can keep on searching love, but there’s nothing you’ll ever find.
Track Name: Cool Breeze Daydreams
Cool breeze, daydreams, let me go/ I’d rather, think it, through alone/ Nothing seems unknown/ My thoughts still only float/ Conscience on its own/

I think, I can, handle this/ I won’t fly, high like, Icarus/ But still won’t fly too low/ Still won’t fly too low/

Drowsy when I wake/ Never wanna leave/ The innocence it takes, to believe/

Cool breeze, daydreams, let me go/ I’d rather, think it, through.
Track Name: Under
I’ll pretend, I’m better, if it’s just for today/ And If I can’t mend, I’ll send a letter, to explain/ I can’t say I’m fine/ And I can’t waste your time/

So I’ll stay with you for awhile/ I wish awhile lasted longer/ I can be there when you tire/ If you can keep me from going under.

I hear, the train, greet me as I get up again/ I feel, the pain, seeping as if it was my friend/ I can’t say I don’t like it/ But I can’t say I despise it/

So I’ll stay with you for awhile/ I wish awhile lasted longer/ I can be there when you tire/ If you can keep me from going under.

Take two steps back, and one behind that is where I stay/ I’ve ”gah” a knack, for finding good thing to throw away/ But you’re not the case/

So I’ll stay with you for awhile/ I wish awhile lasted longer/ I can be there when you tire/ If you can keep me from going under.
Track Name: Back Beat
I lost her in the back beat and she knows it/ It’s worth it when she controls it/ I ask for a favour if I know that she owes it/ But she’s gotta bring me down/

She needs to work on her timing/ Just like I need to work on my rhyming/ The more I look into it, the more I am finding/ I’m doing more than I’m minding

So hey, say, how you feel/ Tell me what you know to be real/ I need sleep, to boost sex appeal/ the secrets that I keep, are too hard to conceal.

Maybe I’m a man, on a mission/ And maybe she’s a girl, who's been wishin’/ She could find a fellow, with some mellow ambitions/ But she’s gotta know where to go/

So hey, say, how you feel/ Tell me what you know to be real/ I need sleep, to boost sex appeal/ the secrets that I keep, are too hard to conceal.
Track Name: Who Do You Love?
We’ll it’s dawned on me, that you want him to leave, but you’re scared so you’re keeping him around/ And I know you’re afraid, that you made a mistake, and I may just be letting you down/

Who do you love?/Who do you love?/ Who do you love?/ Who do you love?/ Darling, you gotta let me know/ Who do you love?/Who do you love?/ Who do you love?/ Who do you love?/ Say goodbye to him, or just let me go/

How is it fair, that I lay here and stare, at the wall, without making a sound/ And I still can’t see, the trait that lacks in me, that he’s got that’s been, keeping him around.

Who do you love?/Who do you love?/ Who do you love?/ Who do you love?/ Darling, you gotta let me know/ Who do you love?/Who do you love?/ Who do you love?/ Who do you love?/ Say goodbye to him, or just let me go/
Track Name: A Black Dog
She lies awake, as the others try to sleep, she weeps and tries to keep herself quiet/ It’s hard to take, but her sanity she keeps, as the others force genuine smiles/ I should have written this awhile ago, It would have been better off sooner. I just hope, it’s not too late you know/ Cause’ all I really wanna do is calm her/

Cause’ I know what it’s like on dark days/ A black dog never goes away/ Depressions’ kept at its best, you confess/ You’re still standing nonetheless/

I hear her say, no one understands the pain, but I like to think that I come close/ She explains, how it’s hard to refrain, from walking out the door for good/ And still she fears, after all these years, the people that she loves the most/ And she knows she should trust them, but doesn’t know how she could/

Cause’ I know what it’s like on dark days/ A black dog never goes away/ Depressions’ kept at its best, you confess/ You’re still standing nonetheless/

I’ll say again, if you ever need a friend, well you gotta know that I’m around/ I won’t let you down like the others/ Cause’ I’m too familiar with the sound/ Too familiar with the sound/ Too familiar with the sound/

Cause’ I know what it’s like on dark days/ A black dog never goes away/ Depressions’ kept at its best, you confess/ You’re still standing among the rest.
Track Name: Sandman
Hours, on my clock/ Fade as, Conscience tries to talk/ Sorry Sandman, you’ve got no job tonight/ What I do with, extra time/ Is up to me, and my mind/ If you can cope, I guess that’s alright.

Oh Oh, I wait for your colours to show/ I can’t sleep, your shades cause me to think/ I’m in ruins/

As the city, changes lights/ I count my, sleepless nights/And greet the night owl, as they pass me by/ This routine is getting old/ As slumber, loses hold/ And if I continue, I might have to cry/

Oh Oh, I wait for your colours to show/ I can’t sleep, your shades cause me to think/ I’m in ruins/

Hours, on my clock/ Fade as, Conscience tries to talk/ Sorry Sandman, you’ve got no job tonight/
Track Name: Empty Road
I think I’ll take a walk today/ I’m debating on throwing it all away/ Cause’ if I leave, or if I stay/ The tension will remain between us/

You find the knife, and ask where are/ The marks I place upon my arms/ Then cover up, with shirts or scarves/ So they don’t miss perceive us/

And who are you to judge?/ Who are you to make fun/ We’ve all got our problems/ And we all tend to run/ But who are you to judge?/

I look back, at the empty road/ On which I claim, to have sold my soul/ Not to Lucifer, but to someone more cold/ I wonder if they’ll believe us/

And who are you to judge?/ Who are you to make fun/ We’ve all got our problems/ And we all tend to run/ But who are you to judge?/

I think I’ll, unpack my bag/ I had a pleasant walk today/ I’ve decided, I might as well stay/They’ll never know if they’ll need us/
Track Name: Hour Glass
Last breath/ I can feel it in my chest for sure/ Hang you worries on my door/ Impressed/ You salvaged all that’s left to know/ Now a widow’s left alone/

And her hour glass has fallen/ She doesn’t have her own/ She feels like she’s forgotten/ It’s best she’s left alone/ So let her go/

Street lights/ Illuminate the night again/ In the absence of a friend/ Her vice/ Widdles at a widow’s heart/ That was broken at the start/

And her hour glass has fallen/ She doesn’t have her own/ She feels like she’s forgotten/ It’s best she’s left alone/ So let her go/

Sweet dreams/ And nothing else it seems still helps/ At least she sees his face/
Track Name: Face Games
Why won't you tell me
Why won't you tell me
Why won't you tell me
The way I do this wrong
Why don't you show me
Why don't you show me
Why don't you show me
The beauty in the songs we'll
Sing them together
Sing them together
Sing them together
Another hopeless phone
Call to be ended
Call and we'll end it
Call me and know that
It's anything but the end
The end

Sometimes I can't see your face
Is everything my eternal waste
Somedays I want you again
You everything I can't turn to them
Sometimes I can't get out of bed
I didn't even have to bump my head
Sometimes I just want a relief
You're everyone I want you to be

Woah Oh Oh Woah Oh Oh
Woah Oh Oh Woah Oh Oh

Tell me your story
Tell me your story
Tell me your story
But we just say hello
Why won't you know me
Why won't you know me
Why won't you know me
We always are
Playing these face games
Playing the name games
Playing the same games
It's just a loop around
To where we started
To where we started
I wish were we started
Wasn't where we end
The end

Sometimes I can't see your face
Is everything my eternal waste
Somedays I want you again
You everything I can't turn to them
Sometimes I can't get out of bed
I didn't even have to bump my head
Sometimes I just want a relief
You're everyone I want you to be

The end/the end/the end/the end

Woah Oh Oh Woah Oh Oh
Woah Oh Oh Woah Oh Oh
Woah Oh Oh Woah Oh Oh
Woah Oh Oh Woah Oh Oh
Track Name: Count On Me
I’m shit regarding feelings, as you can probably see/ You’d think as a musician, they’d be falling of my sleeve/ But I lack further intention to explain just what I mean/ Take my hand, I’m coming clean/

I know I’m going nowhere, so I thought I’d wish you well/ Before you leave with someone, to escape this Hell/ And if you wake up lonely, please just save a lie/ Pack your bag, come on home, spend the night/

Hey/ Count on me/ To keep your secrets/ From the thieves/ If you stay, there’ll be no need, to cry your heart out/ Hey/ Count on me/ To keep your secrets/ From the thieves/ If you stay, there’ll be no need, to cry your heart out/

I’m dark regarding colours, though I wish I weren’t/ You can ask the others, who claim they’re ones I’ve hurt/ Don’t take this as a warning, but please don’t take this light/ Hold me close, watch your toes/ you’ll be fine/

Hey/ Count on me/ To keep your secrets/ From the thieves/ If you stay, there’ll be no need, to cry your heart out/ Hey/ Count on me/ To keep your secrets/ From the thieves/ If you stay, there’ll be no need, to cry your heart out/

You show good intention, on doing what is right/ But I forgot to mention, you might have to fight/ And if you remain threatened, by the other’s knife/ Look around, knock em’ down, you’ll be fine/

It’s a game/ Full of greed/ You’re a player/ Or a piece/ If you stay, just wait and see, they’ll tear your heart out/
